In an Instagram post, Jamie Kern Lima announced the podcast interview with the Duchess and expressed her excitement: “Meghan opens up like never before and shares real, unfiltered, and touching stories, insights, and inspirations. I’ve never cried so much in an interview — and in the best way possible!” Kern Lima writes on Instagram.
The two women sit together in casual clothing, wearing no makeup, and have made themselves comfortable in rocking chairs. Kern Lima explains the reasoning: “She and I decided to do the episode the way we spend most of our time together — makeup-free, in our sweatpants, and cozy in these two rocking chairs I have at home.”

The decision to conduct the interview without makeup proves to be the right one, especially when Duchess Meghan sheds her first tears while speaking lovingly about her children, Archie and Lilibet. “That’s why it’s so nice not to wear makeup,” the 43-year-old says with a laugh.
But Meghan is not only without makeup; she has also chosen a very casual outfit. The Duchess wears black, loose-fitting sweatpants without cuffs at the hem, a matching black sweatshirt, and white sneakers. Her hair is styled in soft waves, and she forgoes noticeable accessories.
