Bianca Heinicke underwent surgery after breastfeeding her second child. She opted for a breast augmentation and a nose job, among other cosmetic procedures. In a recent interview, the former YouTube star expressed regret over these surgeries.
Sometimes we make big decisions too hastily. The trend for cosmetic procedures is on the rise, as several studies show. Bianca Heinicke has now reflected on two of her surgeries and regrets not giving herself more time for self-love.
Overview
Bianca Heinicke Reflects on Her Past
The persona Bianca Heinicke might be familiar to many; if not, you might at least have heard of “Bibis Beauty Palace” or “Bilou.” The former is the real name of one of Germany’s biggest YouTubers. The latter is her former account name, and the third is Heinicke’s cosmetics brand. She made the leap from an amateur video creator to an influencer and eventually a successful entrepreneur. In recent years, she has reflected on her career in various media outlets.
In the Austrian TV show “Breakfast with Me” on Ö3, she critically examined a new topic: her cosmetic surgeries. Her first child, son Lio, was born in 2018. In 2020, daughter Emily followed. She had both children with her then-husband Julian Claßen. The two have since separated and are in new relationships.

She Wants to Turn Back the Beauty Clock
After the birth of her children, Bianca Heinicke went under the knife. She had her breasts enlarged after breastfeeding. She also underwent a nose job. The entrepreneur is no longer a fan of her decision: “If there’s something I regret from my peak as an influencer, it’s my cosmetic surgeries.”
By her peak, she means the year 2021. Although this time was more family-oriented, she didn’t put her influencer life on hold. The 32-year-old posted new products from her skincare brand “Bilou” and shared glimpses of her private life. Videos also appeared on her YouTube channel “Bibis Beauty Palace.” This outward-facing inner life and the fast pace of the online world seem to have led Bianca Heinicke to these procedures. She reflects in the conversation: “I wish I hadn’t done the procedures and had given myself time to love and accept myself as I am.”

Cosmetic Surgeries: The Quick Fix for Self-Love?
Bianca Heinicke’s honest words show that while cosmetic procedures can initially eliminate insecurities, they are not the right solution for everyone. She believes that with more time, she could have developed more self-acceptance and self-love. This message is important, especially in these times. From 2020 to 2024, the number of cosmetic surgeries worldwide increased by a full 40 percent, as a study published last year shows. The most common procedures were liposuctions, breast augmentations, eyelid surgeries, tummy tucks, and nose jobs.
Another study shows that young people, in particular, are undergoing cosmetic procedures. Most breast augmentations and nose jobs, for example, are performed on 18- to 34-year-olds. Therefore, words like those from Bianca Heinicke, a person who falls within this age range and can indirectly influence such decisions with a young following of 8 million people, are particularly valuable.
