As a successful influencer and YouTuber, Anna Maria Damm presents herself daily to a large community: Beautiful and well-maintained skin is therefore essential. The 26-year-old has been deeply involved in skincare for a while, which led her to launch her own skincare line. In her conversation with STYLEBOOK, Anna Maria Damm talks about her beauty routine, makeup hacks, and beauty tools.

“I also had acne in the past and know how important a good, effective routine can be,” Anna Maria Damm shares in the STYLEBOOK interview. That’s why she relies on “good products without unnecessary ingredients and drinking plenty of water.” However, finding the right products can sometimes be a lengthy process. She further explains, “That’s one reason I launched my own skincare line, AN’DA. There’s still a lot in the pipeline. I’m very grateful that it’s been so well received and the feedback is consistently positive. I’m very happy about that. More body and hair products will follow soon.”

She Relies on Beauty Tools

In addition to the right products, Anna Maria Damm also uses tools in her beauty routine, as she reveals: “I learned early on that makeup lasts much longer on cooled skin. Some people also use an ice bath for the face, but that’s too extreme for me. I love using a cool jade roller or Gua Sha–it’s more practical and works just as well. It makes a huge difference in longevity, believe me!” When it comes to makeup, the influencer prefers a natural look, her motto: “Less is more.” She adds, “You don’t need ten layers of concealer. I love using my blush as eyeshadow–it gives a bright look and a sense of uniformity.”

Anna Maria Observes Beauty Trends

New beauty hacks pop up almost daily on TikTok or Instagram, and Anna Maria follows these trends with interest and draws inspiration from them. “I find new hacks super exciting and try them out right away. I always enjoy learning new things, and the application possibilities of makeup are so incredibly diverse. My latest hack was a concealer trick. Depending on how you apply it, you can also achieve a lifting effect in the eye area.”

Anna Maria Damm Talks Openly About Pregnancy

Anna Maria Damm (26) is expecting her second child. On Instagram, the former Germany’s Next Top Model contestant wrote, “Our family is growing. We still can’t believe it.” She shared a photo of her family: Julian Gutjahr is pictured with their daughter Eliana, who was born in 2018, on his shoulders.

However, getting pregnant again turned out to be more challenging than hoped. “In school, you’re always taught to be careful because you can get pregnant super quickly. But it’s a science in itself! I started tracking my fertile days with a cycle calculator. I really learned to be more patient and not to overthink it. And please stop asking about our family planning! You never know if a couple is already trying desperately or if there have been miscarriages.” Anna Maria Damm is glad it eventually worked out for her, as she wasn’t sure if she was mentally strong enough to go through the long process of artificial insemination. “I followed Anna Adamyan‘s journey for so long and have so much respect for what she went through.”

The influencer associates her best beauty moments with beauty conventions. “I loved meeting new influencers and makeup artists at the fairs. You can always learn so much from each other!” Anna Maria Damm also fondly remembers collaborations with beauty giants like L’Oréal or Artdeco. Her biggest beauty fail: over-plucked eyebrows. “Compared to my sisters, I have hardly any eyebrows and always have to fill them in with a brow pencil. What was I thinking with those thin brows back then?” Anna Maria says with a smile.
