So we asked ourselves: Where does the model actually come from, and what makes her so special?
Overview
Brooks Nader: Her Career So Far
She hails from Louisiana, moved to New York for modeling, and has already achieved It-girl status: The 28-year-old Brooks Nader began studying economics at Tulane University but dropped out to pursue her career in front of the camera. A good decision; a few years later, she broke through in the modeling industry. She won the “Sports Illustrated Swim Search” competition, standing out among over 10,000 applicants. In 2023, she even graced the cover of “SI.”
In 2019, the year Brooks Nader won the “Sports Illustrated” competition for the best bikini body, she also married advertising manager Billy Haire. A truly lucky year! In 2024, the marriage ended after five years. During that time, the model founded the interior brand “Home by BN” and launched a jewelry collection with “Electric Picks.” Nader also had a supporting role in the action thriller “Backtrace” (2019). So, let’s recap: Entrepreneur, model, actress–and what else?

Love Drama from “Dancing with the Stars” Participation
Brooks Nader is also a talented dancer, as she showcased on the U.S. version of “Let’s Dance,” namely “Dancing with the Stars.” During the show, she developed feelings for her dance partner Gleb Savchenko, and the two embarked on a turbulent romantic relationship. At the start of filming, Nader mentioned in a podcast that she had asked for the “hottest and silliest” available dance partner to get over her broken marriage. The latter seemed to work, but the relationship with Savchenko eventually ended. The couple finished in 9th place in the dance competition.
“I feel like all my ex-boyfriends hate me,” she told “People” magazine in May this year when asked if she still had contact with them. Savchenko had every reason to be disappointed with Brooks Nader–he learned about the breakup through media reports.
Turning Misfortune into Fortune: Handling the Period Scandal
Brooks Nader caused an unusual stir at Wimbledon this summer. Not with an outfit, but through her open approach to a taboo topic. During a visit to the tennis tournament, she noticed she unexpectedly got her period, visible on her white pants. Instead of hiding, she spontaneously grabbed her smartphone, made a TikTok about it, and spoke openly about the situation. The video went viral and was viewed millions of times. The message: Menstruation is natural–even on the red carpet or the center court.
The reactions to her bold move were mostly positive. Many fans praised her authenticity and the unfiltered way she destigmatized the topic. Even companies took notice: Shortly afterward, Nader secured a brand deal with the hygiene product manufacturer “U by Kotex.”
