For her, it was a means of coping with the pressures and expectations of life in the spotlight. “I thought drugs and alcohol would help me, but they only made me sad and depressed,” she admits today. The turning point finally came in 2022: after attending a festival, shocking photos were taken of her showing a neglected and disoriented Delevingne at Los Angeles airport. The images spread like wildfire, prompting a long-overdue decision for Delevingne to seek rehab.

Post-rehab, Delevingne has embraced abstinence and discovered a renewed sense of inner strength. Today, she knows that she took an important step back then and looks back with pride on her successes to date. This includes not only her celebrated stage debut as Sally Bowles in London’s West End, but also a new project with her sisters. Together, they have launched a non-alcoholic rosé on the market. “I feel like I’m back in control of my life,” explains the model.
